Your suffering isn’t brave, it’s cowardly and cruel

Taken from Google Images. I don’t own it and I don’t monetize my articles.
  1. A middle-aged man is prescribed medications but refuses to take them. His wife watches as he sits around all day staring into oblivion and refuses to participate in social activities such as holiday parties or conversations.
  2. A college student is prescribed antidepressants but refuses them due to “all of the side effects” and disliking the pharmaceutical industry. The student suffers from regular panic attacks, has difficulty interacting with new people, and engages in inappropriate social behavior.
  3. Girl ghosts boyfriend after telling him for months how happy he made her. Indecisiveness and a fear of negative interactions make her afraid of happiness. The boyfriend was severely hurt and doesn’t know what a good relationship looks like if that wasn’t one.
